glass breaking machine

This is something of an audio visual joke.

First a very solid box was made out of old hard wood pallets. Then a dinner service was placed into a metal drum inside the box. "This Way Up" and "Fragile" symbols were carefully stencilled on to its exterior.

Next it was dropped repeatedly off a cliff until it reached its present battered state. After that a motor was connected to the drum so that when the button on the front is pressed, the drum rotates and the now broken crockery makes a fantastic smashing sound. Very satisfying if you have had a bad day.
